May was Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year, we focused on fostering understanding, promoting resilience, and raising awareness about mental health. To engage our members, we launched the Spread Kindness Challenge, encouraging everyday acts of kindness.
Here’s how members could participate:
- Complete 3 or more activities from our suggested acts of kindness list and fill out the form to enter a draw for a chance to win an Apple Watch or a one-year subscription to Calm.
- Example activities included:
- Perform a random act of kindness for a coworker or friend (e.g., help with a task, buy a coffee, etc.)
- Sincerely compliment someone
- Journal and reflect on what you’re grateful for
- Do something for yourself (e.g., read, cook your favorite meal, take a relaxing bath, etc.)

Here’s a snapshot of our amazing results:
- Over 100k members received the awareness email
- Open rate: 38%
- Forms filled: Over 2,700 entries
We saw fantastic participation, from engaging with our Instagram posts to filling out the forms. We received feedback from clients expressing their appreciation, saying they’re “pleased to see that GroupHEALTH cares.” Thank you for your support and involvement in this initiative!
