Trauma Support through sparrow

12 views 0 May 28, 2025 Updated on May 29, 2025 ghmarketing

Sometimes events happen in the workplace that require extra support—whether it’s a serious accident, sudden medical emergency, or the loss of a colleague. In these moments, having the right help matters.

24/7 Crisis Line – Always Available

Plan members can access immediate emotional support at any time through sparrow’s 24/7 Crisis Support Line, which is included as part of your Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Crisis Support Line: 1-866-644-6881

This confidential service connects individuals with a trained counsellor right away, day or night.

Fee-for-Service: Trauma Intervention Support

In addition to 24/7 crisis line access, sparrow also offers paid trauma intervention services to support the broader needs of your workplace following a critical event. These services may include:

  • On-site debriefing sessions

  • Individual counselling for affected employees

  • Management consultation to support leaders and teams

These services are designed to help restore stability, offer psychological support, and guide teams through difficult moments with care.

If you have questions about trauma support for your workplace, please contact the sparrow team directly at:

  1. By phone: 1-866-644-6881 Option 2
  2. By email: clinical.incident@team.mysparrow.ca
