Maintaining Leave-Of-Absence Status in WEBS

276 views 3 April 15, 2024 clienthelp

If you have a member who will be going on leave (personal, medical, or other) for 5 days or more, it is important you inform GroupHEALTH so we can help you administer their benefits accordingly.

To make this update yourself in WEBS, change the class and status of member in the EE or employee profile screen. You can also use the Notes button to add more details about the leave.

General Reminders

  • Review and update annual earnings if needed prior to their first day of absence.
  • Upon return from leave, update the member’s class, status, and annual earnings in WEBS as applicable.
  • If your member has a medical absence that exceeds or is expected to exceed 5 days and your plan has Early Intervention Services through Disability Management institute, it is also important you are initiating the referral to the Early Intervention Program This form can be found in WEBS under the Forms and Insurer Information tab; the DMI folder.

You can also reach out to your GroupHEALTH representative for more information or support.
